China. Oh China! It seems to be the only place our family could ALL be together in the past 5 years! This trip would be the first time we were all back together in nearly 3 years. I have to admit, I was a little nervous what it would be like, reunited after so long. But it actually was pretty awesome! Besides all the cultural differences and hilarious stories and signs, the highlight was definitely seeing my big brother’s face on his wedding day. Yes, he was a bit stressed at times, but every time he looked his bride and wife in the face, he just lit up. Now, he’s been legally married for about 9 months now, but it doesn’t matter when the celebration occurs; only the pure joy matters. I love my big brother, Sean. I am more than proud to call his wife, Chrissy, my sister.
In addition to the beautiful wedding, I had so much fun hanging out with my brothers and his friends, ate some INCREDIBLE food, and went hiking at Jinggangshan (“shan” means mountain, so the Jinggang mountain). I also got to see some of my friends that are studying in Shanghai this year! It was such an awesome trip! I’m including some pictures for your viewing pleasure!
