Nerja & Malaga, Spain

Our time in Spain was amazing!  It was definitely a time of reunions, refreshment, reflection, and refinement!  (Note my amazing alliteration!)  And I did NOT hate the sun!

I got to see some of my best friends from JMU, be reunited with them, process, and just have a lot of genuine fun and laughter, especially with this girl, Heather!

The views near our hotel were absolutely GORGEOUS!  Some beautiful sunrises and sunsets!

Soaking up the sun and swimming in the Mediterranean Sea!

A visit to the Rock of Gibraltar (and hanging out with some monkeys), Flamenco dancers, and ending our Spanish adventures in Malaga!

My favorite story from Spain though is that when we arrived in Malaga, we took a train to try and find out hostel.  We had gotten some directions from someone at the airport, but we were still struggling!  Eventually, our valiant Steve, who knows quite a bit of Spanish, approached an older Spanish gentleman asking for directions.  This man, Miguel, decided that he was going to walk us all the way to our hostel, chatting with Steve in Spanish the whole time!  He was the kindest man, and all of us, after that, could honestly say we LOVED Spain!
