"All Will Sing Out Hallelujah"

As I sat with Shelby and Molly, two of my teammates, in our living room, working on a puzzle, hanging out, and listening to All Sons & Daughters, one of my favorite songs came on.  We had sung this song many times in JMU Cru and, to me, it is one of those songs you just cannot sing WITHOUT irrepressible passion.

"Shout it, Go on and Scream it from the Mountains, Go on and Tell it to the Masses: That He is God."

We've been to campus both days this week and have talked to quite a few students already.  Many show no interest in talking or learning about Christianity.  It's so easy to get discouraged when 1 out of the 10-15 students you've talked to shows any desire to talk to you about faith.  But I don't want to hold back; I want to shout and scream and tell all 9,000 students at this one campus that HE IS GOD.  Even after only 2 days, I can lose sight of why I'm here.  But songs like this remind me:

"All the poor and powerless
And all the lost and lonely
And all the thieves will come confess
And know that You are Holy
And know that You are Holy.

All will sing out Hallelujah!  We will cry out Hallelujah!

All the hearts who are content
 And all who feel unworthy
And all who hurt with nothing left
Will know that You are Holy.

And all will sing out Hallelujah!  And we will cry out Hallelujah!"

THAT is what I'm here for.
